Dr. Dru

Dru. Precious, precious, Dru. Spend any amount of time around her and she will absolutely melt your heart all to pieces. Besides her making you laugh until your belly hurts, she is one of the most kind-hearted and well mannered little three years old I know.

Today, Dru and her daddy were sitting on the couch in the living room. Dru was Chris' doctor and she was giving him a check up. Something she knows pretty well now considering she has had to visit them non-stop since November. Poor baby! Anyways, she got her little stethoscope out and listened very carefully for Chris' heartbeat. She told him she didn't hear anything and leaned her head closer to him. Chris, for whatever reason, told her he must not have one and wasn't sure what happened. Dru looked at him with great concentration then said:


"Well daddy... where does Jesus live then?"

Chris and I looked at each other and were so proud that our three year old just reminded us that Jesus lives in our heart. What a great moment.. and what a special, special little girl! We couldn't be more proud and blessed to have her!
