It's Christmas Eve!

It's Christmas Eve and Dru is so excited she can't stand it!  She woke up this morning and checked under the tree to see if any new presents had arrived.  She is really excited about making cookies for Santa and wants leave him a special treat. Her special treat includes: cookies, milk, flowers, and a picture of herself because she doesn't want Santa to forget what she looks like (she came up with her special treat list this morning).  Here are some cute pictures of her checking out the presents that are already under the tree...  Max (the big fat cat) got in on some of the fun too.  He is just about as big as she is!

Meet Baby Sue... she is a reindeer puppet we made out of a brown paper bag, pipe cleaners, felt, and wiggly eye balls. Dru names just about all of her babies and things she makes Baby Sue. Her favorite saying has become,"here's to you baby sue." Can't you just see her sweet little self saying that?

This wink has also become part of her latest phase... she conveniently does this now when she is about to get in trouble...or already in it...

Dru also got to meet the newest addition to the Rainey family, Iris Marie Rainey. That makes three new cousins all in one year! First baby Preston, then baby Henry, now baby Iris. This Christmas is sure to be filled full of laughing, healthy babies. That's just about as good as it gets, huh.

Meet Iris, isn't she beautiful! I think she has her daddies eyes and her mommies mouth. Now that head full of black hair... who knows?!
