Earth Day

What is April 22, 2009? Earth Day! And we learned all about it yesterday at school. Dru came home with all kinds of goodies to celebrate. She was also full of ideas on ways she could help keep our earth clean and take care of mother nature. She made a litter bag that she couldn't wait to put to use. She brought home a packet of seeds to plant. She got a new book, "Why Should I Protect Nature?" She colored pictures of a butterfly, ant, and flower. She even came home wearing a brand new shirt Wal-mart was nice enough to give her! And last but not least. Dru says this is most important. Hug a tree and tell it you love it!
