That's them- huge, huh! Dr. Abkes told us today that Dru's tonsils were measured at a 3+... 4 being completely closed. He also said her adnoids were somethin impressive. No wonder she sounds like an 80+ year old man when she is sleeping. Hopefully, we have cured that problem.
Today couldn't have gone any better. The surgery went smooth and Dru was the best little three year old patient we could have asked for. She had fun playing with all the different buttons on the bed and fell in love with her little personal handheld speaker for the TV. The worst part of the day for her was the uncomfortable IV that was wrapped in gauze on her hand. But, she handled it like a trooper and we were out of there & on our way home by the end of the 7th hour!
We have a lot to be thankful for... today was a great day!
