Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial day weekend, a weekend to remember and honor our fallen veterans. On memorial day, we observe this special day of remembrance for those who have died in our nations service. It is about reconciliation and about coming together to honor those who gave their all. Memorial day also brings our huge family together. What a wonderful, long weekend we had to enjoy with our family. Friday night was Dru's 2nd dance recital. Of course she was beyond precious and did a wonderful job! She had her own cheering section with Grammy & Happy, Mimi, and Mimi Ruth, Uncle Matt, Aunt Donna, Cousin Henry, and of course her very proud Mommy and Daddy!

The rest of the weekend was spent with friends and family in the lake or at the pool. Dru even got to go down a big water slide that was set up at the pool! We had a great time seeing all of our aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, and cousins who live out of town! It's a tough life, but someone has to do it!
